In the Sovereign Hill historic town were these little cottages, fully equiped like the men had just stepped out for a days work in the gold mines, and the wife was chatting over the fence. Or she could have been in the 'wee hoos.'...and let the fire out!
Loved how the Trust, who runs this town, had made sure that everything was authentic.

    What a wonderful place that would be to spend a lot of time in. The cottage looks so cozy, and like you said, it is as if the people just stepped out moments ago.
