Hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth unto that within the veil... Hebrews 6: 19

A road grader of years ago
Has surely proven its worth.
Now anchored in the snow....
Wheels firmly on the earth.
Poetry by me AJP

I tried out my new Tamron AF 70-300 mm F/4-5.6 LD -macro 1:2 lens made for a Nikon D 40x camera on this image yesterday of the road grader. I can hardly wait for the snow to melt so that I can get outside more and shoot bird pictures. Today there is a cold wind and very icy underfoot...I am loving my new lens and even though it does not have the VR capacity I can always use a tripod to steady it, if need be. Best of all the price was affordable.

It certainly does a great job!! It's hard to believe that you still have snow. However, it is NOT warm here and we're having week-long rains.

Interesting piece of equipment from the past.. would this have been pulled by horses or a tractor? This is a terrific shot!!

Thank you for your comments..Heather, in answer to your question, It was manufactured in the 1890's to be pulled by horses to begin with and then later on it was pulled by tractors as well..
