These classic Frisian barges called skûtsjes look like - and are in fact - museum pieces. But they are raced by teams from cities and villages. And raced hard. If you don't give way, you'll have a collision on your hands, and every year a couple keel over. What you see here, is no day out on the lake, but a serious training by the team of Langweer (recognisable by the swan).
