A small village street in the Villupuram district, deep in the rural heart of Tamil Nadu, India.
An 84 year old local told me through my Indian friend that it's his first time ever seeing a foreigner in the village.

Thank you all. I stayed in the vilage for 3 days. We were hosted by my friend's local relatives. These days were full with children playing (with me too), adults sitting, working or hiking in nature (bearfoot too), cows, goats, hens all around. I gave a trial for grain crushin, well swimming a open air toilet. The cooking is done on an outdoor little camp fire. I must admit I couldn't find people more peaceful, simple, happy and curious in the more ' modern town' I stay at.
