The female subject represents a much more beautiful exterior than the ruins of this building's interior. This is why still photography can do so much more to represent time as slow and stagnant because the motion of time is dead, like the house but the youthful body, represents vibrant, exhuberant, boundless energy with endless possibility in their future. This purpose the building once had has ceased, unlike the human who potentially has decades of purpose to discover and strive for.
