The Washington palm is one of the most distinctive palm varieties. Capable of reaching heights of 80 feet or more, the tree is considered one of the tallest and fastest-growing of the palm species.

This particular palm tree has survived the test of time and stands tall in the Botanical Gardens at Warrnambool.

    This is truly amazing, Christopher! Great shot! Our weeping willow tree was at least 80 feet tall when it crashed to the ground last October...Fortunately, it landed away from our house.
