And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people; and as one
gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was
none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.... Isaiah 10:14
Little peepers
In their shell
Were only keepers
For a short spell..
Oh how sweet
They were to eat.
Poetry by me AJP
I had never heard of Peep Easter candy before but I bought a package of three today and after my camera shoot they became our rich and very sweet dessert:)

This is so pretty and creative. I wonder what they would taste like if you toasted them like marshmallows. LOL.

Thank you for the comments...I am sure they would taste good toasted as
they really have lots of marshmallow inside the filling but the chocolate might
get a little gooey:) -

Get a sugar high just looking at them. A colorful and fun shot, Andrea. BTW, can't find these in Italy, so can't enter this theme.

Oh I am sorry that you don't have peeps in Italy Deb....I had never heard of them until the challenge and I was surprised to find them in the grocery stores where we live as they are relatively new around here..but apparently they are good sellers because both grocery stores where we went to yesterday were almost out of them...Thanks all for the comments..

We don't have them here either Andrea. Looks like wonderful decadence!

Suzanne, Deborah Downes also said they don't have Peep candy in Italy... I think I read somewhere that Canada and the United States are carrying them but not the foreign countries. I wonder if there is a recipe on how to make them from scratch...The filling is marshmallow and the bottom has a chocolate base. It tastes something like S'mores....Of course shaping them into forms might be a bit difficult:) Thanks all for the comments.
