If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. Job 12:12
My husband shot this picture of Mom and me, shortly before we left the Nursing Home where we visited her...We took her out for dinner earlier in the afternoon. When we came back to the Nursing Home, the Activity director had given me a project to get some pictures together from Mom's photo albums to put in a booklet of which they were going to do a story about her...It was a little bit of a hit and miss project because I could not find any baby pictures of Mom but did find some family pictures and did the best I could with what she had there. Just before we left, poor Mama started crying because we were leaving to go home. We told her we would be back for Mother's Day but she thought that was a long time from now....We got a little smile out of her on this picture. Mom, will be 102 years old on July 18th. She has been diagnosed with having dementia .. her mind was clear earlier in the afternoon but later confused before we left to go home...I still love her anyway and none of us knows what the future has in store for us. One thing she has never forgotten how to do is to play the piano and she has been a blessing to many people in her lifetime.
Happy Easter to everyone...
