A wonderful musician and all around nice guy. His style of dress is in direct contrast to the old style singing cowboy. He hosted the last quarter of the show, and treated us to a great concert of his hits.

Great shot, Judy! It's not easy to get stage shots.

Great shot. Vince and his wife, Amy Grant, do so much for the city of Nashville. Whatever the cause, if asked, they are there to help.

.A store employee, Daryl that used to work in the same grocery store as my retired husband, met Vince Gil some years back who he talked with after one of his shows. Vince noticed Daryl had a slip of paper in his shirt pocket which contained a poem that Daryl had written but had not finished... Vince was curious and wanted to see it ..Consequently to make a long story short Vince finished the lyrics in the poem and made it into a song...Something about a Mountain but can't remember the exact title. Daryl had to quit working at the grocery store a few years ago as he is an invalid and in poor health...but I am glad Daryl got that earlier recognition from Vince as he is a very shy, but talented individual who blossomed after that meeting.

Wonderful shot of the great Vince Gill!!! I wish so much I had gone with you and Wayne that night.....(I was sooo tired.) :( But this is a fantastic shot of him. The song to which Andrea is referring is "Go Rest High on that Mountain." I love all his songs, and especially "Bridges to Burn."
