I had a hot conversation about Photography, my opponent was adamant that Photography is not an Art, just a tool to portray a moment. I would say it is Art, whats your opinion?
I think the picture above shows it clearly, I only changed the background colours, thats it!

In order to take good photographs you have to have the eye of an artist. The term "composition" says it all. Anyone can snap pictures, but not everyone has the skills to take photographs. A beautiful illustration of photographic art, Roxana.

Photography is art..... Not everyone that holds a camera captures the image. The artist shooting the shot has the EYE that is art. Your opponent is wrong. It is the artist in you that turns a photograph into a artful image.... This shot proves my point....AWESOME!

My opinion is that, my opinion is more fact than opinion: photography is an art form just like writing, dance, painting, the playing of a musical instrument etc. They and many more are all crafts. Some people never get very good at their craft some do; some go well beyond the craft and produce art. Being good at the craft gives one mobility so that they might produce work that make it possible for others to experience something far beyond enjoyment of the craft....contribute to the age old human dialogue involving their craft in such a way that it evokes something greater than simple admiration of craft well done ...affects and changes humanity...moves it forward -
