Hot! In Photo Challenge: Starry Nights
This was the moon at it's perigee or closest point to the earth in 2007. The rails connect to an area where ships offload containers to rail cars and the tracks are lit to provide greater safety. No extra light was used to make the image. It's really just as it appeared.
