Dale Sholl, 5 months, holds his mother's finger as he rests in St. Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa late February. Sholl has been in the hospital for two months and will need to more two heart surgeries before the age of two. He was born with a hole in his heart and reversed ventricles, among other complications.

Thanks you. The family is incredible. Dale's mother didn't even think she could have kids. Doctors had told her it was very unlikely b/c of her hormone levels. Then, she had Dale. She credits it to finally finding the right man. They are home from the hospital now, but they aren't out of the woods yet.

Thank you so much for posting this Rachel!! We do have a beautiful boy don't we! Just to let you know he had his last surgery on April 10th and he is doing WONDERFUL!! We were only there 5 days!! One more surgery to go in about a year! If you ever want to follow up with us just let us know!
