Yea, the sparrow hath found an house.. ..Psalms 84:3

This bird got its name
And claim to fame...
By how it sings a song.
Its strings of musical chips
Can sometimes be long
Or they may just skip
To a very short trill.
Melodious at best.
They are ne'er shrill...

The "Chippy" is oft' seen
Building its nest
In an Evergreen...
E'en on the ground
They may be found
Raising their young
With notes to be sung.
Poetry by me, AJP

I am now enjoying taking pictures of birds on our feeder by using the macro feature set in the 185-300 range of my Tamron 70-300 mm lens...An absolute must to take macro shots of the birds through the window is to have the bird feeder very close to the house...I love not having to crop...What you see is what you get.

The closest I will get to a micro is to move my feeder closer to the window. :-) and it will be done one day. Great pix.
