    This reminds me of two things...both extremes. First is, "You might be a redneck if..." And the second is the hymn, "Shall we gather at the river; the beautiful, the beautiful river." I love it! The colors are wonderful!

    Bear in mind that I am not knocking being southern, being a redneck, or making fun of anyone. I was born and raisd in south Georgia and it doesn't get much more southern that than. Its a different kind of place. The food is great. The women are beautiful, the people are friendly and helpful to total strangers, and they like to party. Okay, their idea of partying might involve mud wrestling women and 15 foot tall mud trucks that run off racing fuel, but not only does it make them happy, but its fun to photograph as well. :) You should check out my video on the Hortense Mud Bog that is listed on under my username of anacortesjim for the full meal deal.
