This fellow came to visit about three years ago. He stayed around about a week, then departed for parts unknown. He was a handsome fellow. I have lived here for 34+ years and this is only the second time a turtle has visited my home. This turtle had things to do and places to go. I am sorry it left.

It took until July 12th, 2012 for another turtle to come by for a visit.

Turtles have such pretty designs on their shells... I have never seen a turtle on our property here but we used to see them at the homeplace where my folk's lived and some of them were good sized. You have my vote!
