We lost our beloved "Putter" two weeks ago. We took her to the vet cause she had stopped eating for a day or two, but was still being playful like she always was. Then a day later she was barely moving around and we rushed her to the vets. We did not have any money at the time, but the wonderful Doctor took her in for us anyway. I got call about 5 hours later that she had passed. I was shocked and hurt. I had to tell my daughter her and my youngest daughter down in Florida as we got Putter for her two years ago when her kitty had escaped somehow. She couldn't stop crying. The doctor said she had passed from Congestive Heart Failure and from what she gathered, had had it since birth. She said she did everything she could to save her and that she had water in her lungs as well and tried to get some of it out, but was unsuccessful in saving our baby. We miss our little putter and I tell you I swear there are times at night here in the house when all is quiet, that I can still hear her little feet still pattering around. R.I.P. Our little baby! We will always love and miss you!

Putter was a beautiful cat and her loss is such a sad one. I am so so very sorry. I believe you do still hear her. I often hear my Geronimo scratching at the door wanting to go outside. Again, I am so so sorry.

Thank you both so very much! I often find myself at the store wondering do I have enough food at home for Putter? Or maybe I can get her a new toy? Then realize, that she is no longer with us! It has been over a month now and still I find myself doing these things every week at some point! She is dearly missed by us all and we wish so much that she was still puttering around the house like she always did being her playful wonderful, sweet self! But she will always be in our hearts & mind daily! Ty both again!!
