I do not see then often, but I have seen one already this year. He/she sits under the bird feeder- to wait on any flies who may come by to gather the left over seeds-nuts or raisins the birds miss.
The toad was so happy that day as we had gotten lots of rain.
As to why he is in the theme "From the Pit" ? You like your music and I like mine. The toad sings when he is happy and its beautiful music to my ears.
