Easter procession in Morella. One of the most beautiful villages of Spain.
Easter in Spain is a tradition. All brotherhoods (groups of people who are responsible for maintaining and displaying the statues of saints) have their typical attire for centuries. Them during the processions through the streets to take a very large statues of saints (images of the life of Christ or related to the Bible). Sizes are usually very old and valuable timber.
Traditionally their outfits are all black or purple (each guild has a color) with these strange cones in the head, but luck has nothing to do with KKK:)
Quite the contrary, it is a party, a celebration where all people can enjoy, with religious images and beliefs.
It's a beautiful tradition where children and adults enjoy together.
Insist it has nothing to do with KKK. Is a very Spanish religious tradition :)
