Wild Boar - The Plaza in Kansas City. Shoppers drop coins in the fountain which go Childrens Mercy Hospital and rub the boars nose for good luck.
"The original Wild Boar was reportedly done in marble by a Greek or Roman artist. A plaster mold was made by Renaissance sculptor Pietro Tacca. In 1857, Benelli, working in Florence from Tacca's old repaired plaster mold, cast a bronze boar. Several reproductions of the 1857 cast have been made. The Kansas City replica was cast by Ferdinando Marinelli."
