If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

My rooftop lodge room has a huge balcony. Local Tamil women use to daily sundry spices on the floor and laundry on the clothesline. Mainly in the morning when I practice Yoga before the sun blazes the shady spots.
The Lungi is originally the national houswear but many use it to roam around the neighborhood or even for work, mostly 'blue-collar' (or blue Lungi, here). Unlike the Dhoti, the official white wraparound, the Lungi comes in a wide variety of designs and colors, most are checkered. Like the Dhoti it can be worn at ankle level or folded, tucked into the waistline, at knee level.
Some challenges are how not to step on an edge while walking. When that occurs the Lungi will unwrap and a person will remain in his underwear. That is why some secure it by wearing a belt over.
Another challenge is mounting a bicycle or a motorcycle with a skirt. As you know women bikes are made without a frame bar at waist level so the can ride with skirts, but here men are using ordinary cycle and skillfully jump with one foot on the pedal and another flying over the saddle to rest on the pedal on the other side. Maybe that is why the TVS XL was designed and became so popular. It is a very powerful scooter-like 2 wheeler that is comfortable and easy to ride in a Lungi. At first I considered it just a town vehicle. But the longer I stayed here I saw and heard about it's legacy and ability. It carries 3 adults and some luggage up the Kalvarayan hills. These roads are steep and winding. Otherwise it is used by small business owners to transport their merchandise and by private people to move their home belongings such as fans, beds, sofa. By farmers to carry a truck tire etc...
So these are the offline adventures of the Lungi.
