The San Mateo coastline is only a half hour's drive from where I live. I'm there pretty much every weekend. It's always changing, always beautiful and replenishing.

Definitely frothy, with this yellow stuff floating in it. It's a very unusual thing, I only saw it that one time - but I don't know what causes it. Bacteria or algae, I would guess.
