In one of the little turn of the century shops in Sovereign Hill, Ballarat, these men dipped the most essential item in any settler's home....the candle. Big containers of liquid hot wax were placed around the 'shop'. Many colours were used. The man on the right was setting the wicks in place. Everything was as authentic as it was in the 'olden days.' Quite fascinating to watch.
