I've never seen witch hazel . This is a wonderful image. I love the depth of field. R

Thank you gents. Witch hazel was something I only knew as being an ingredient in astringents, it had never entered my mind what it might look like. IN summer it is a fairly nondescript tree that anyone might just walk past. It flowers in February/March, at first I thought someone had gone to the trouble of taping confetti on the tree from a distance and it stood out amongst the start landscape around it that I was there to photograph in the first place. Isn't that the way, go somewhere with a specific shoot in mind and your favorite image has nothing to do with that idea...
