A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Proverbs 15: 1
The two squirrels at first
Were friendly at least...
Then the storm clouds burst
In the world of the beast..
Tho' they didn't speak a word
That my ears could hear...
Their actions were heard,
Loud and clear...
Poetry by me AJP
I was about to take a picture of two peace loving squirrels eating nicely together on the feeder when all of a sudden the tide turned...This is the shot I got instead:) It happened in a matter of seconds.. Sometimes there's peace and sometimes there's war in the animal kingdom.

A wonderful capture of Nature at her not so finest. LOL! Squirrels are unpredictable, as you have perfectly illustrated.

Alright, now one squirrel obviously snatched the other squirrel's sunflower seed! They are very protective of their food, as you've demonstrated perfectly in this photo, Andrea. But they also don't hold a grudge, and I'll bet by now they're curled up together in a nest sleeping like babies. Wonderful shot, Andrea!!!!
