Gracefully guards
The flower pot...
Offering her regards
To the broken stem..
Tho' the tiny petals are fragile..
She dresses like them,
Her purple rimmed wings
Are alive with color and style...
The soft harmony she brings
To the Violas is where she belongs
For nature makes her strong.

When I shot this image a few nights ago, I saw one of the flowers had broken and was just barely hanging on to its stem...I almost snipped it off before shooting the picture but I looked at it again and rather than seeing a disfigured broken flower I instead saw the form of an angel and I left it there as it was for the picture...the next morning when I looked there was no trace of it as the flower had broken off completely from the stem after it rained.
