This is a view down the north side of my living room heading around from my front door back to my kitchen door. I miss those Saturday Shots. I guess I should mention that the large, coral-colored hanging flowers on the top-right are called angel's trumpets (Brugmansia candida). You're not likely to see them in areas with cold winters unless it's indoors - botanical gardens or arboreta. It's pretty and fragrant. And that's a Japanese camellia (Camellia japonica) fron left.

What a brilliant shot, Ron. These flowers seem so old fashioned to me, and something you would find in an lovely English garden. You are the master of gardening, no doubt about that. What are these lovely flowers? I would love to have some. The light was perfect for snapping this magnificant photo!!

Glorious view, Ron! Your flowers are always so beautiful. CA is a has great soil for flowering plants. We lived in Marin County for 3 years in the 70s, when my husband was in the Navy, and I had the most gorgeous fuschias and hydrangeas.

What a wondeful yard u must have.. So beautiful and lots of work I am sure. I have not seen these flowers, but somehow have a trumpet vine - flowering just now. Think the birds must have brought the seeds.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! The angel trumpets are outstanding! We have them here but I haven't found a spot in our yard where they will thrive. We have a lot of all day sun in most of our yard and I think that the angel trumpets require more shade.
