On a photo shoot with a friend, we happened upon a homeless persons squat. My friend wanted his photo taken in the middle of what was left of someone's life. He put his self in someone elses shoes only for a moment but, you can see the empathy on his face. The poor soul who called this abandoned loading dock his home had recently been huffing paint from a brown paper bag. The smell still lingered in the air. Makes me wonder what chain of events placed this person in this demoralizing situation.
