Grandad's Pocket Watch
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.

My Father-in-law was given this by his wife on Christmas Day 1950. He carried it with him every day of his working life. The leather on the case is tattered and worn, the chain is rusty and the watch has never been wound since he passed away. But it brings back those warm familiar memories of Grandad slipping the watch through his belt as he left for work, gathering up his packed lunch and saying a cheerful Goodbye as he slipped out the door. It reminds us that someone dear has not been forgotten.
