Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Sidd the Travelin Buddha is shown here in a crevice of a gnarly rotting tree located in the Wyuka Cemetery in Ne City Nebraska.

If a man practices himself what he admonishes others to do,
he himself, being well controlled,
will have control over others.
It is difficult, indeed, to control oneself.

Dhammapada (Words of Wisdom) # 159

What this says is that if one practices what one preaches, one will see a bountiful harvest.
Control does not mean they are at your service willing to do what ever you wish, but one will provide a good example, thusly providing an opportunity for others.

Treat others like one wishes to be treated..this is along the same lines.

So if one sets a good example one will enrich the lives of others making a better more harmonious environment.

It starts inside and must be brought forth so others may see and take notice.
