Medieval church bells chimed in the charming Italian village of Bagnaia, while we sat in the town's main piazza enjoying gelato and watching and listening to local men, women, and children interacting. A group of elderly men played cards, a pregnant woman sat on an weathered bench soaking up the warmth of the sun, an old woman bent over and drank out of a stone carved fountain created by an artisan in 13th century, a little boy with a head of dark curls road a small two-wheeler around in circles on stones his ancestors most likely walked upon.
