Excellent shot. You have caught the "greasy grass" while it is still green, which it must have been during the fight, which took place on June 26. Later on in the summer, all of this grass will be brown. I first visited the battlefield in 1971, and it is unbelievable how much excavation has occurred there since that time. Now historians can tell the entire story of the battle simply by marking where the soldiers fell.

Stellar shot....If only Custer had known what they were riding into...perhsps he wuld have reconsidered...While the Iondians know they won that round...the ultimate fight was lost....I held a war club from this site...and it was full of spiritual vibration as well as sadness...I always enjoy rading The Black Knights Comments...
