Wildfire Sunset
A persistent peat fire covering thousands of acres on the NC mainland caused some amazing sunsets because of the hovering smoke cloud. Taken from the north end of Roanoke Island overlooking Albemarle Sound.

Thanks again for all the wonderful comments. I can't take credit for nature. The smoke from the wildfire created unique conditions, but I'm glad you all like it as much as I did. Fortunately the photo doesn't smell like the air did at the time, lol.
