My new Homeless friend I met just yesterday, His name is James but people call him Zeezee. I am photographing the homeless here in Savannah Georgia for a class assignment. I not only photographed Zeezee but sat and had a conversation with him for who knows how long. Eventually he began to trust me more which led to an invite into one of the countless homeless camps in the surrounding area. I accepted and was greeted there with great hospitality. Zeezee told me during our chat that eyes are "windows to the soul"; I think he would be proud to know he has become an example of that very saying.
