Excavation going on at General Grant's Headquarters at City Point Unit Petersburg National Battlefield Park in Hopewell Virginia. This was the busiest port in the world in 1864/1865. All supplies for the Union Army in the Siege of Petersburg came through this port located at the junction of the James and Appomattox Rivers
