Mom, at 102, playing the piano at her church birthday celebration.
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

And they sung a new song, saying thou art worthy to take the book..
I couldn't let the night go by
Without saying thank you
How quickly the years fly.
Happy birthday, 102.
You are an inspiration
Mother, and I love you.
I shot this picture during the program in the afternoon...some of the angles
were not too easy in this small church and I got up on the platform in front of the congregation to shoot this portrait. I tried to be as inconspicuous as I could and hopefully without too much distraction....I love my mother's beautiful hands and
the nice manicures they are giving her at the Nursing Home.
I am so thankful that she can still play the piano and that memory has not left
her when so many of her other memories have gone. I called her tonight to wish
her a happy birthday and she was wondering if her parents were still living...
But this is part of her dementia and as hard as it is to hear her talk this way, I
have learned to accept it...and to appreciate her for who she is and was.
