I got this idea in the middle of the night when we all jumped up because we heard a noise. People are desperate.
Don't worry, it was unloaded for this shot. LOL.

You got my attention.
As far as desperation goes it's gonna get worse before it gets better. Starting to spread up here into Canada too.
Gotta go and lower the drawbridge now.
Thud! -

Regenia Brabham said (20 Jul 2011):
Thanks so much everyone! I get these ideas in my head and just have to get them out. The lighting was a challenge. My new place has a lot of light so I used flash to black it out but had to be careful not to have the glare on the metal of the gun. I bounced it. I did have a black background but often, flash will make them stand out more. Stopping down helped with getting it all black. I have another shot straight down the barrell but it was not as dramatic as this one.

Oregon Curly (Deleted) gave props (24 Jul 2011):
Good photo!! Now that you've said it is a Winchester ... my wager is model 94 in 30-30 caliber. (I enjoy guns, get a bang out of shooting them. ;-) ) I do agree that it would be a much better world if weapons of any kind were not needed to protect ourselves from our fellow man.
