I shot this series Friday night in Black Creek/Ellabell, Georgia. It is about 20 miles outside of Savannah, Georgia.
Have you ever noticed that in some old western movies they decorate with old stuff. This annoys me. Wouldn't the stuff be new back then?

This is a great collage, Regenia!! I love the med. light and color tones. I can remember my grandparents occasionally going to a store like this. (Do they even make Chesterfield cigarettes anymore?)

Fabulous tribute collage!! I had to LOL at your narrative.....where would they get new old stuff???? I guess they could make it and fake it, right?

I love this collage, Regenia! The sepia tones are perfect for it, and the black frames are wonderful. I love finding antiques and old collectable items. You have done an outstanding job here!!! (Susan does have a point....where would they get it?) :))

Ditto the above props. Speaking of 'props' all the old stuff sitting around the scene in movies and such .. they get them from the prop supplier! Seriously though, the same thing has bothered me, looking at all the old photos, the houses, shops and such were most always kept as neat as possible. Might be a pile of totally unusable stuff in the 'lower 40', but anything recyclable was kept in use. Not like they had BigMart next door. Shall we just say the picture takers used a bit of artistic license? Must be in the genes...... ;-)
