Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

This shot was taken on the morning of September 14, 2006 with a point and shoot FujiFilm FinePix 1300. Smudges on the lens from mist in the air, created this effect, with exceptional blue quality enhanced by the Fuji's then-trouble of low battery charge reducing other color tones. Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, CA during low tide on a windy, cool, misty morning.
