I would like to enjoy my pretty Camelia tree more, but being on the south side of the house all the blooms appear over the neighbour's fence, and give them a bright spot to look upon. But I managed, by squeezing half my body over the fence, and at a precarious angle, to snap this one, yesterday.
Winter has struck with vengeance over three quarters of the country, with snow lying deep in many places. We had a good frost this morning. Temperature is predicted to rise to nine!

It is so pretty and I love your title. The positions we find ourselves in to get those shots must be very funny to the folks watching. It has been in the 100s here. I am thankful for this rainy day and very thankful it has not been cold.

I have never seen a pink Camelia bloom before. It is so beautiful!!! You did some gymnastic moves for sure to get this photo and I am glad to get to see it and glad that you did not get hurt in the process.

Well worth the work you put into capturing this. Love the title, too. Considering the ongoing heat wave in Dallas and many other areas of the US, your morning frost sounds heavenly:)
