Q: What is the best lens for theater photography?

A: Do you know?

Chill out with 42 Below Zero, a vodka whose name refers either to the temperature at the South Pole or the 42nd latitude where distiller Geoff Ross lives in Wellington, New Zealand.

Image shot at Clarke Quay, Singapore. During post-processing, I reduced the color temperature to give it a cool, even cold, effect.

I submitted this image to a photo contest that marked International Women's year in 2010. Did not win anything but was (un)pleasantly surprised to find it published in a commemorative book produced by the contest organisers.

It is a great image. You really have to read the fine print on those contest. When you enter many of them you sign rights to your image over for them to use in anyway they like.

Thanks for the advice, Regenia :)

Actually I did not mind them publishing the photo and am quite happy they did. Just that they did not inform me and was surprised to one day find a book in my mailbox and, whoa.... my pix inside the book. At least they gave me a copy, LOLz!
