On a vacation to the Outer Banks of North Caroline I got up before dawn and roamed the deserted beaches of Pea Island. I caught this solitary pelican not long after sunrise.

Thanks everyone. I used a 200mm lens to narrow the field down to just the reflection of the early morning sun on the water. To either side of this shot was not this nice color. I really was looking at the time to get closer shots of birds, and didn't realize this would be so nice, so I was happy when I got it home, lol.
