The fifth one is around there somewhere. They are hanging around out back of my bathroom. I shot this through my manky old bathroom screen. She's been a stray in the neighboorhood for quite a while ans just showed up behind my soil pile in the last couple of days. They're feral and not easy to get close to. And I really wasn't looking for more pets. You've all seen photos of Samantha. One's enough.

How adorable they are, and what a good mama she is to her babies!!! Great photo, Ron! Are you going to keep one or two? Maybe you can find a good home for them. ;-)

She is watching you closely! What a good mama. She is so pretty and has beautiful babies.

You did very well shooting through a screen...Manual definitely is the way to go ...I see by your slower shutter speed that you probably shot this in the early evening....The mama cat is watching you intently...It is sad when you see stray animals who have no home...They usually end up either getting hit by cars or they get distemper.

Ron, see if you can contact a feral cat group that will capture and fix the bunch. It's really not fair to let her keep having kittens. That having been said, it's a great shot!

She is beautiful! Is it possible that Animal Control would trap them, give them rabies shots, and spay and neuter them? My sister had some in her yard, and they loaned her traps to catch them; then the county took care of their health. Then they were brought back to their area (my sister's acreage), where they lived out their lives without multiplying.

In addition to this being such a cute shot of a mom and her babes, I love the pots toppled over, and the plants, a pure natural, great shot Ron

Your manky screen made a nice filter : ). Manky? I looked it up and there was no definition to it, but manky is an interesting word : ). I agree with Nancy about contacting a group to round up the kitties and get them and their mama fixed. She is definitely watching out for her babies : )
