Elfreth’s Alley, located in Old City Philadelphia, PA is popularly known as “Our nation’s oldest residential street”, dating back to the first days of the eighteenth century. Twenty years after William Penn founded Pennsylvania and established Philadelphia as its capital.

    I really hope to visit here one day. There is so much old history there. Great shot!! I love those old brick homes. They have style and character.

    My first and last visit there was in 1958. It was run down. Now, it has been revived. Nice to know, and this is a handsome capture!
