Stephen King is certainly an inspiration of one who moved up to a place of luxury....all through the hard work and talent for writing stories which scare the living daylights out of us!! :)) He was living in poverty in Maine when he wrote his first novel, "Carrie". He hated it and threw it in the trash. His beloved wife (and author in her own right) Tabitha, believed in it and sent it to a publisher. It was accepted, became a hit and a movie, and the rest is history. From poverty to prosperity...that's the story of Stephen King. He's certainly earned it!!

I love your photo and interpretation of the theme. Stephen King really has a talent with an active mind that keeps producing stories that draw interest..More power to him..

I love the way you framed the house using the iron of the gate. Interesting narrative, too.

Wonderful entry, Patty. Years ago, I met his personal assistant up at Sugarloaf (where Fred and I lived at the time). She obviously enjoyed working for Steven. His book on writing is among the best.
