# 3 for Saroj Swain

This is a mushroom that is growing on whats left of the Dog Wood tree I planted some 25 X years ago. It was a beautiful tree. A tree trimmer I hired to trim the big Oaks, said I needed to top the Dog Wood tree also. A few months after that it died.

Again the Gnome studied the mushroom, measured it and took many notes.

"To much sun light just now, and I must leave." And with that he was gone. :-( notes and all.

I do hope I find my mushroom ID book soon. I am glad I do have pictures....

It looks like the mushroom has made its home on what's left of the dogwood tree...It is sad to see favorite trees die...We just lost three more trees to a storm a few nights ago but surprised to see that happen because this time we didn't hear any wind with the storm but woke up to see the damage around our place and other places around town. Cute shot and story.
