Good shot Don. Lighthouses are always a treasure shot. I live in Michigan and because of it's long coast lines on the Great Lakes, there are many lighthouses. Many were abandoned by the Coast Guard.

long ago can remember traveling all the way there and setting up camp...hahaha only to find that the tent pole were not there. It was no fun sleeping in a toyota truck that night... great shot!

Living where we do we do not get to see many lighthouses. There are a few but not spectacular. I love how lighthouses look so different from each other, this is another fantastic shot of a lighthouse : ). At one time I had a lighthouse passport. We went to San Diego and up the coast to the top of Los Angeles, stopping at every lighthouse that we could find. They would stamp my passport showing that I had been there. I got to use it sometime later on in the Seattle area. I still have the passport tucked in a file about our travels.
