If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good....Isaiah 52:7
Yesterday my husband and I attended the county fair in the town we live.. We enjoyed going into the exhibit rooms where they show photography...Often times there are so many people observing the pictures that they become the picture... In this case I thought that the coast was clear until after I saw the results...I didn't notice at the time when I shot this image, the feet on the other side of the partition..and it made me smile...I showed the preview in my camera to the gentleman looking at the pictures on the wallboard and he got a big charge out of it..
Oh the ever length of miles
We travel round' the block,
To save pictures for our files.
How oft' do we thank the feet?
For some may ne'er walk...
But e'en through defeat,
They bless us with their smiles.
Poetry by me, AJP
I mentioned to my husband yesterday, I feel blessed that we were able to walk around the fairgrounds as we saw so many people much younger than we are who were lame, in wheelchairs and scooters... What touched my heart strings yesterday was to see a little boy in a wheelchair who gave one of the workers at a stand a smile and hug for giving him a free gift..... I wish I could have shot that picture...
