Proverbs 16:3
I love these graceful Zinnia flowers growing by our road grader.....I did this self timer portrait tonight with natural lighting, and it is not photo shop edited. Sometime it feels good just to turn ones back to the camera and take time to simply listen to the silence of nature.

Lovely color in this SP Andrea. Your hair is so so pretty. My neighbor has lots of Zinnias and said I can come get as many seeds as I like. I may go do that today.

Thank you everyone for your kind words...and also for liking my long hair, Regenia. I have worn it short for most of my life but decided now that I am older I wanted to see what it would be like to have long hair. Some of my older friends who have short hair remind me that it is getting long and I say yes, I know it is, but at least it is not hanging in my face: You would really love the Zinnias, Regenia...the flowers are beautiful. Yes, Ann the quiet of nature is very peaceful and relaxing....I would hate to live in a place where I could not get outside without living next to nature and hearing the birds sing.

I like this photo as much as any you have posted. It looks like a book cover from the 1920s. Excellent.

I love this beautiful image, the colours are vibrant and beautiful.. and one can sense the quiet sounds of nature. We have been spending time at a quiet little lake lately, listening to the loons call to one another and the other soft sounds of the lake. It is so refreshing and calming. It brings peace to the soul...
