I had to use my 200mm lens to get close to the dragonfly as it would fly off if I got any closer. I love it when I can see their faces : )

I am always amazed how a closeup makes insects look much larger than what they are..and you not only got a great picture but there are no distractions which is great about close ups as it blurs the background.
