Thunderstorm outside Sierra Vista, Arizona. Trying out my new Nikon D90 and I think practice is over with it. Didn't think the storms would produce any decent shots tonight.

I have a Nikon D90 and I love it, but I haven't even had a chance to try to get lightening photos like this. You definitely have to be out in the open for these shots!

Such an amazing photo of lightning--excellent work! Did you notice what looks like a face in the clouds (in the middle of the lightening/cloud)…I see two eyes, nose, and a mouth--maybe it's just me?
